Every purchase on EBLIT is backed by a comprehensive set of protections designed to ensure you get exactly what you paid for — or your money back.
Before any seller can list an item on EBLIT, they must complete government-ID verification through Stripe Identity. Every seller you transact with has been verified as a real person. Their identity is cryptographically linked to every transaction they complete — creating an immutable trail of accountability that protects you from anonymous fraud.
When you pay for an item, your funds are not released to the seller immediately. Stripe holds your payment until the transaction is successfully completed via EBLIT. For meetup transactions, Stripe holds funds until both parties exchange confirmation codes. For shipping transactions, Stripe holds funds until you confirm receipt. If anything goes wrong before completion, your refund path is clear.
For in-person transactions, EBLIT's GPS verification system confirms that both parties are physically present at the agreed meetup location before the transaction can proceed. You cannot be pressured to hand over payment before the seller arrives. The seller cannot receive payment without being physically present. Location spoofing is detected and results in immediate cancellation and seller penalties.
At meetup transactions, both parties present government-issued photo ID. EBLIT's OCR system verifies that the person in front of you matches the verified identity on file. If the seller sends a different person, the mismatch is detected, the transaction is cancelled, and you receive a full refund. The seller receives a strike on their account.
For shipped items, EBLIT requires you to record an unboxing video when you open your package. This video is binding evidence in any dispute. If the item arrives damaged, not as described, or missing components, your unboxing video is your proof. Without this evidence, carrier damage claims and item condition disputes cannot be resolved in your favor — so always record.
If something goes wrong, EBLIT's dispute resolution team reviews all available evidence — unboxing video, carrier photos, identity records, and chat history — and makes a binding determination. Disputes must be filed within 12 hours of confirmed delivery for shipping transactions. Our team aims to resolve all disputes within 3 business days.
